Hello Drummo Dragon Families,

I hope everybody has had a great weekend. This past Thursday evening we held our Drummo Dragons Basketball Club Annual General Meeting. At the meeting, members of the Executive Committee were voted in.

We do have opportunities for individuals to join our general committee. We are currently looking for age group coordinators for our U10 boys, U19 Boys and U19 Girls. If you are interested in learning about what being a member of the committee entails, come speak to one of the people listed above.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Paul Hansen. Paul has served our club for 14 years with many of those in the ever important role as treasurer. Paul has been a champion for everything our club represents and we thank him for his time, effort and leadership. We would also like to thank Mark Bruty for serving as our U10 coordinator and member of our General Committee for the past two years. Mark will continue to be a wonderful coach for his players and representative of our club.

Our club has seen fantastic growth over the recent years from a participation and performance standpoint. Moving forward, we have some targeted strategic investment areas. We are focused on growing the participation and performance of our junior female players. Additionally, following the success of our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle we are looking to expand our fundraising efforts to help provide opportunities for our players and coaches to develop. Thank you to all of our families for making our club a fantastic platform to provide a positive sporting experience for our players.
